2018 marked the 4th consecutive year that The Nature Conservancy has relied upon CatalystCreativ as their creative partner for the Volunteer Leadership Summit and this year resulted in the most successful collaboration yet. From the record-breaking number of trustee attendees and inclusion of acclaimed guest speakers, to the sounds of moving musical entertainment and an elegant honorary dinner, CatalystCreativ infused the Summit with fresh and diverse programming opportunities that attendees truly applauded.

Success Moments:

  • Increased number of total trustee attendance from 225 in 2017 to 244 in 2018, the highest trustee attendance ever

  • Incorporated new opportunities for entertainment and noteworthy guest speakers, such as a performance by Cabin Jams and keynotes from Thomas Friedman, Joel Sartore, and Sonny Perdue

  • Coordinated a Celebration Dinner at the Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium

  • Designed a full event identity and microsite, tncvls.org, as the primary marketing tool for the TNC team to spread the summit’s mission, provide a full event schedule, highlight accommodations, promote keynote speakers, and direct visitors to the registration page

  • Created an “audience” on Facebook with targeted Summit registration advertisements
